Why detoxification is important and why now is the time!

May 7, 2015 by Kelly Bennet

Why detoxification is important, and should be done in the Spring? Spring is the best time because, after the long cold winter, spring is the time when everything is awakening, growing and regenerating, the human organism is not excluded from this process. It is know that the philosopher Plato was demanding from his students to purify (detox) their bodies for one month so their body and their spirit is prepared for his teachings.

In this time, detoxification is important so we can improve our health, and we can regain our energy when we feel exhausted on both physical and psychological level. Our body, in normal conditions is programmed to cleanse from all toxins automatically, but the time we live in, with everyday stresses, eating unhealthy and fast food, dehydration and less and less physical work, our body wastes to much energy during these processes and there is no energy for the automatic processes of cleansing and detoxing.

Some of the symptoms that are alerting us that is time to dedicate time in renewing and detoxing our organism are: bad breath and body odor, abnormal body weight, often headaches, chronic sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma, allergies, candida, chronic fatigue, depression, skin problems, poor memory, stomach bloating and gasses and premature aging. Detox or cleansing our body helps us restore the natural balance and heal faster. Many people that I know have very nice experience with detox diets, and almost all of them are sharing the same results, better health, lesser need for sleep and felt more energy, felt less nervous and depressed, relieved chronic diseases and clearer thoughts!

If you feel some of the above symptoms I suggest dedicating some time for cleansing and regaining the balance of your organism!

If you want to keep your body in shape or to get in shape fast you need to have a consistent workout everyday. To keep up my shape I get up and I spend one hour for exercising and bathing. First of all you need to have nice meal that will give you energy so you can workout, I strongly suggest that you do not work out hungry.

This simple workout is comprised of two exercises, and in order to do them you will need a jumping rope, and a workout hula hoop.

Now you need a bit room for jumping rope and hula hoop twirling and some nice 25 minute music 🙂

Star exercising with nice  five minute stretch up

Now we start with a 5-minute hula hoop swirling, don’t give up if you fail a few times but keep it up, you can do it!

Move it up, don’t give it up, if you fall get it up again!

Now we go with the harder part keep it up you can do a 5-minute rope jump, jump jump around !

Rope jump, workout, fat losing, body building
Rope jump up, jump, jump, jump around!

Relax for 1 minute. Now we go 5 more minutes hula hoop swirling! Go again you can do it, now it will be easier.

After you complete the hula hoop exercise, you need to do 5 more minutes of rope jumping! And you are done and ready for the shower and a beautiful day!

Jump for 5 minutes when you finish, take a nice hot shower and drink a lot of liquids. If you can, try not to drink coffee before exercise, make some green tea – it will help your body detox! Green tea has very special preparation here is link for green tea recipe.

Protein salad with chickpeas!

May 7, 2015 by Kelly Bennet

Breakfast – the most important meal of the day! Eat simple protein salad in the morning so you have enough energy and proteins for workout and work.

For this bomb of a salad you will need :

  1. Lettuce
  2. Spinach
  3. Cherry tomatoes or tomatoes
  4. Chickpeas
  5. Sesame
  6. Black seed
  7. Himalayan salt
  8. Olive oil
  9. Apple cider vinegar

– The amount of the ingredients is according to your personal preference and number of portions. The one I’ll show you is done by my preference 🙂

To prepare this nutritive bomb, first you’ll need to wash up the chickpeas nicely and put them in water during the night. The next step is to boil the chickpeas for 20-30 minutes. Drain the water from the chickpeas and store it in refrigerator in a container with a lid. The prepared chickpeas can be used for couple of days so you can make more for other meals or for the same salad for the next day because it is worth it! The chickpeas are a great source for protein!

To finish up this salad you will need to clean all the ingredients nicely, chop and put the lettuce and spinach in a nice salad dish, and add the cherries and chickpeas in the dish. After that, add vinegar and himalayan salt and finish up with olive oil and  black and sesame seeds.

Be careful this salad is a true nutritive bomb, with a lot of protein and you will need to spend that energy. For that I prefer my 25 minute morning exercising for burning up fat and and making my belly look nice 🙂  wish you the best, here is the link of the exercise!
