Almost all diet plans recommend doing some sport or physical activity, but you probably don’t know how much calories are burned by different sports or activities? The fact is that even when you pay attention to your diet and do not have any physical activity, chances are that you won’t see any results. Most of those who want to lose weight want to know which exercises burn the most calories. We bring you the answers:

Cycling
In addition to being a very fun activity cycling is the alpha and omega of cardio training and should not be missed. Just one hour of cycling can burn up to 1000 calories! The average number of calories that women can burn is 850 and men burn 950 calories.

6 habits of always fit people

July 1, 2015 by Sheila Smith

You’ve probably always wondered how it is that FIT people just constantly have the time and energy to train? How do they manage to always have six pack and biceps? The secret of these people still lies in a number of “little things”

1. Exercise even if you only have 15 minutes free time. Fifteen minutes of exercise is better than no exercise at all. If you have 15 minutes before you hop in the shower or you need to go out with friends, do a series of “Jumping Jacks” with your favorite pop song.

6 habits of always fit people

2. Mix sports. Do yoga the first day, aerobics the second day, try something more extreme on the third day, such as rock climbing or parkour. It is important that your exercise routines do not get boring.

6 habits of always fit people

3. Rather than skip exercise, think about how good you will feel after a strenuous exercise. Although many practices are painful, both physically and mentally (when you push forward), have in mind that the endorphin rush that you’ll get after a two-hour workout. And of course you think about how soundly you are going to sleep all night.

Fit-Women

4. Eat the right foods. It is important to eat healthy and regularly. Add more fiber, protein, fruits and vegetables in your daily meals. Replace the milk chocolate with black chocolate, which is rich in antioxidants. The dough and alcohol to a minimum. Keep the pastries and alcohol to a minimum.

6 habits of always healthy people

5. If you are not a fan of the gym work out at home or outside. Remember that good training does not mean using gym equipment. It is essential that every day you do some minimal training and activate the body.

6. Instead of thinking about how you will look when you lose weight, think about how you will feel. Exercise triggers the production of endorphine, and you will see the results very quickly if you’re not too burdened about how you look.

From bad day to beautiful one With positive thinking and mind exercises!

July 1, 2015 by Kelly Bennet

Did you know that in one day we experience about 20,000 moments?

Moment is a period of few seconds in which the brain register the event, and this happens 20.000 times a day. Depending on how the brain responds to this moments – as positive, negative or neutral and the ratio between them – will be determined how are we going to feel about the day and are we going to be in bad or good mood.

If you just have one of those days where the ratio between the negative and positive moments is in the favor of the negative, you will feel pretty bad. The first effort you give to feel better, should be thanking yourself and the others, about the good things you have.

If we realize that we have many good things many good moments, and not only bad, the act of gratitude will became mood-healing act.

In the moments of blockage and rage, spent 8 minutes in so called “cloud” Think of some joyful situation, and take deep breaths (3 second inhale, 3 second hold breath, and 4 seconds exhale). This should become your practice, it will help you relax and get back to work. But remember this is just a push out of the negative moments, you should always find time and analyze why it happened so you can prevent it from happening in the future.

Although sometimes it seems very difficult to distance yourself from the problem, even for few minutes, you should always be persistent and constantly practice it. With proper usage this method will trick your brain and make positive thoughts.

To begin with the practice of positive thinking, take a bit from your free time and think about the most positive thoughts from the past to the present and write them down on a piece paper that that you will always carry with you.

From bad day to beautiful one With positive thinking and mind exercises!

However if no positive thoughts are cheering you up, you can try the trick that psychologist call “the five positive for negative attitude”. Specifically for every negative thought you must come up with five positive thoughts that have some similarities with the negative one. With this method you will weigh what is the positive from the negative thought and will help you come to a positive final solution. It is important to remember always to do your best to harness the bad thoughts, the best way is to do a joke from them, with blocking the negative thoughts you are unblocking your mind and you will be calmer, healthier and most importantly you will be able to better grasp the life and solve the problems in the right way.

After all there there is big truth in the saying of Buddha “We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves”

Homemade Suntan Oil With Carrots

June 30, 2015 by Amy Brown

For carefree sunbathing and fast tanning you do not need expensive products – just invest a little patience and get the appropriate foods. Keep in mind that fast tanning is not good, it is best if you expose yourself on the sun rays gradually.

Ingredients: One large carrot • 10 ml sunflower oil • 90 ml light sesame oil

Preparation: First dry the carrot to dehydrated and then to finely grate. Carrot must contain less fluid so later in the preparation would not have emerged mold. Mix grated carrot with sunflower oil, pour everything into a glass container and hold it for about two weeks – make sure that the carrot is covered with oil.

During that time, the carrots will be rid of beta-carotene in sunflower oil . Drain the oil and mix with sesame oil. Use it as you need. Sesame oil will protect the skin from burns, and beta-carotene from carrots will accelerate the production of melanin, which is responsible for tanning.

Light sesame oil has a protection factor of 8, so oil does not protect enough from the sun very sensitive skin, but for the recommended sun in the late afternoon and early morning hours will be enough.

6 foods that make you feel tired

June 30, 2015 by Sheila Smith

Have you ever felt an indescribable tiredness in the middle of the workday without any particular reason? You’ve had a good night’s sleep but you can not stop yawning after lunch? Just like the fact that certain foods can give you extra energy there are some that can make you feel sluggish and tired. Avoid these foods in the morning or for lunch, especially if you have a busy day.

1. Bananas – Foods rich in magnesium such as bananas and pumpkin seeds can make you feel tired. This mineral is an excellent muscle relaxant, and is a good choice as a snack before bed, but during the day it can suck up your energy.

bananas

2. White bread – If you choose foods with high glycemic index (white flour) instead of the one with low glycemic index such as wholegrain bread chances are that you will feel fatigue during the day. These foods do not have enough fiber, and do not provide enough energy for the day.

wholegrain bread

3. Red meat – Strong meat such as steaks and burgers can make you feel tired. Why? These foods take a long time to digest, so they drain all physical energy. Instead of these foods you can choose meat rich in omega 3 fatty acids. They promote better functioning of the brain and better focus and concentration.

4. Cherries – It is scientifically proven that cherries are perfect food for a good sleep because they have a lot of melatonin. For the same reason, they are not good food during the day, because they will make you sleepy and slow you down.

5. Sweets – Strong sweets after lunch can put you in a real energy coma. A large amount of blood sugar triggers the secretion of insulin which continues to affect the excessive secretion of the amino acid tryptophan in the brain that ultimately makes you feel sleepy and tired. So, skip dessert after lunch and eat it after dinner.

Fruit-or-Sweets

6. Coffee – You might have thought that coffee has the opposite effect, but this is actually a warm drink that makes you feel tired. How? When you drink a cup of coffee it wakes you up, but only for a short time – an hour, hour and a half – and then you go back to the previous state. Experts recommend a daily dose of coffee 200-300ml and you should be sipping it for a longer period of time. Morning coffee should be finished until noon! The best way to build energy is to consume fiber-rich breakfast, pastries, whole grains, protein, and finish with fresh fruit.

June 30, 2015 by Amy Brown

On hot summer days cucumbers are a pleasant refrigerate, but also help restore moisture to the skin and promote its renewal after sun exposure. Their effects comes to the fore in these two skin lotions that can make by yourself :

Refreshing Lotion For Soothing Skin After Sunbathing
1. For the lotion to soothe the skin after sun, peel and slice a cucumber then put it in a strainer and squeeze out as much of his juice. Mix it with 4-5 tablespoon of coconut milk and put in the refrigerator, where it can stand for about a week. 9 Steps to cleansed and detoxed body, and how to keep balanced body!

June 30, 2015 by Kelly Bennet

With the fast and stressful lifestyle, much of junk food our body has no time to take care of it self. By this I meant, all the toxins that are by product from the lifestyle in the XXI century, will stay in our bodies if we don’t do anything. Here is link to a post, where you can find all the symptoms that are suggesting you that you should start with detox.

Here are some every day detox tips that will help you to throw out The Toxins and be more energetic and beautiful.

More Water

The simplest and the best advice is take more water. I know this sounds simple but in order to detox you should take like 4 l of water that is equal of around 20-25 glasses of water. Much of a water is suggested in every detox program, cos it keeps hydrated our bodies, and the excess of water get outs from our bodies with a bunch of toxins. So if you want to detox, or you want to keep all the toxins out of your bodies DRINK WATER. If you are one of the types that forgets to drink water, simply make a 30 minutes alarm and on every 30 minutes take a glass of water.

More Alkaline Foods

It wont be bad if you start the morning with a lemonade. The lemon is one of the great alkaline foods. This acid helps you to keep the ideal PH balance. To keep good balance you should also add fresh vegetables and fruits such as carrots, beets, broccoli, kale, spinach, lemon and plums.

Alkaine-foods

More Fiber

When you feel the need of detox in your body, you need to stop eating foods that are full with bad proteins and fat. More fiber will help your digestive system works properly. It is best to food rich with fiber in the morning. Here is a link to a post with foods that are rich with fiber and will help you to detox.

fiber-foods

Limit the Intake of Dairy Product

Dairy product usually slow the digestion and increase the acid. In order to stay clean and detox program to work you need to avoid dairy products and take some soy, rice or almond milk instead of regular milk, and maybe try toy cheese with nice spices if you are addicted to cheese :).

More Bio Coffee and Tea

Caffeine can increase the desire for sugar and sugar is really bad for cleansing, but that is not the biggest caffeine problem. Regular coffee may raise the blood pressure and usually it slow downs the digestion which also slows down the detox, that is the strongest reason why we should not start the day with coffee. If you are a coffee addict try some bio coffee, but if you can stop drinking coffee it is for the best, at least try to drink coffee at least 2 hours after the breakfast.

More Physical Activity

The best way to get the toxins our is trough sweat. Try to take long walks, to ride bicycle and stay active as much as you can. Cardio is the best way to help the diets with the detox. Take a few minutes cardio training, if you like here is my favorite cardio workout. The cardio is the hard way, you can do it with long walks and sauna treatments. But remember ACTIVITY and SWEATING!

activity is good

Less Carbohydrates

For the cleans and detox to work you should watch the intake of carbohydrates. This is not so hard just take less sugar products and take low fat yogurts. Be careful with the salads, bunch of the dressings are full of sugar and products rich with carbohydrates.

Make a Vegan Day for Yourself

One day of the week will do it. Decide to be a vegan for one day of the week. The food of plant origin will rest your liver and pancreas. Take one day of the week, lets say Tuesday, and eat only vegetables, vegetable milk, nuts and products from vegetable origin.

For the end

Easiest way for detox programs is to stay detoxed, try to do all of this steps in daily, don’t fully change your lifestyle but try to stay detoxed with small changes of your life. Also never forget to take everyday green smoothies. Make sure you drink lemon, cucumber, spinach and chia seeds.
